Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC helps eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women, women who recently had a baby, infants, and children up to 5 years of age.
The Bureau of Maternal, Child, and Family Health is seeking an intermittent Information Technologist 1 for the WIC Help Desk. This position is critical in providing support and service to local WIC staff working directly with participants of the Ohio WIC program. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide education on WIC Certification System and Ohio WIC policies & procedures as it relates to Information Technology
- Provide access to WIC Certification System, determine user access levels, and reset passwords
- Trouble shoot general computer issues (speed, internet issues, connectivity issues to monitors and docking stations)
- Troubleshoot issues with WIC Certification System/Application, card readers, and benefits receipt printers
- Install software, card readers, and receipt printers for local WIC projects
- Resolve WIC benefit redemption issues
- Restore WIC benefits for transferred participants
- Assist with Farmers’ Market coupon issues
