Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code; 36 mos. exp. in psychiatric nursing or delivery of nursing services to persons with developmental disabilities; completion of undergraduate core program in nursing; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in supervision; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in counseling; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in public relations.

- Clinical & administrative leader responsible for 24 hour clinical, administrative, operational, management of two behavioral healthcare inpatient nursing unit/units
- Directs/supervises licensed & non-licensed nursing staff to ensure delivery of quality recovery focused treatment & interventions, as presented on recovery treatment plans
- Confers with & directs nursing supervisors regarding conditions of patients & unit operations
- Identifies safety concerns & follows through to assure safe & therapeutic patient care & environment
- Collaborates with Director of Nursing (DON) regarding competency evaluation & appropriate corrective &/or disciplinary actions
- Interviews applicants & recommends for hire
- Approves/disapproves & monitors schedules & requests for leaves.
