The Robot Welder Operator is responsible for operating, directing, and overseeing the manufacturing process of grating to ensure proper spacing and piece size as defined by job instructions. This role is fast-paced and requires working as part of a team to coordinate tasks efficiently. The operator may need to obtain materials as required. Work is reviewed by a supervisor to ensure quality and accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operate and adjust the robotic welder, ensuring proper setup and programming as needed.
- Maintain and follow all company safety rules and procedures, creating a safe workplace for oneself and teammates.
- Load materials into fixtures, unload grating panels / welded products, and perform necessary hand welding or grinding to meet quality and productivity expectations.
- Assemble work and assist production lines, including setups and changeovers.
- Communicate effectively with team members, especially during shift changes, to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all operating procedures, process instructions, and safety protocols.
- Accurately complete required paperwork, such as time cards, job travelers, and material / bundle tags.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.
- Identify and report quality issues immediately to supervision.
- Assist with other duties and cross-train as assigned by the supervisor.
