What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Coach position at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center?
Starting Date: July 2025
Salary Range: Based upon years of experience in education and highest level of educational attainment on the certified salary schedule.
Work Week/Year: Teacher schedule, plus ten extended days in summer
Requirements: Teaching license in Education, Career and Technical Education, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in an academic or CTE setting, with demonstrated success in student achievement. Previous experience in instructional coaching, professional development, or teacher leadership preferred.
Responsibilities: The Instructional Coach at Ohio Hi-Point will play a critical role in supporting both academic and career and technical education (CTE) teachers, ensuring high-quality instruction that prepares students for success in both college and career pathways. This individual will also lead efforts in onboarding and mentoring new teachers, fostering their professional growth within the district. The ideal candidate is a skilled educator with a strong background in instructional best practices, curriculum development, and teacher mentorship.
