Under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON), you'll help to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Department at one of our life plan communities. It will be your responsibility to work with the administrator of the building to make sure residents are receiving the quality care they deserve and that your team of nurses, STNAs, and nursing assistants is well-prepared and has the resources they need to do their jobs well. What It Takes
- Nursing degree and current Ohio RN license required
- Additional education in nursing administration or other management courses and specialized training in the care of geriatric or rehabilitative patients required
- One year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility or health care facility required
- Three years experience working as a nurse in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
