Job Summary:
The Student Planning Committee (SPC) Leadership Team positions are the core of the student programming experience on campus. SPC Leadership Team members plan all campus wide programming events throughout the academic year including oversight of the programming budget. Individuals are responsible for the planning and execution of all events. The Leadership Team will cooperate with various students, other organizations, and faculty/staff of the University to present well-rounded programs that enrich the student experience while meeting the various needs of the student body. ** This posting is specifically for SPC Coordinator (Previously “President”)
Principal Responsibilities
Must be willing to attend NACA Regional and/or National Conference (dates TBA)
Must attend weekly leadership team and bi-weekly General Assembly meetings.
Must hold 3 office hours per week in the SPC office dedicated to their responsibilities.
Must attend mandatory events/meetings designated by the supervisor(s).
Must serve a year long term upon appointment to role.
Maintain communication with supervisor(s).
Organize, attend and participate in the annual leadership team retreat.
Assist with management and supervision of SPC members.
Assist with program assessment as necessary.
Assist with the facilitation and execution of campus wide event programming.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time ONU student through the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 academic year.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA at the conclusion of the Spring 2025 and maintained throughout term.
- Applicants must follow and support University policies.
- Preference given to students who have served on the student planning committee for at least one year.
