Ohio Processors, Inc. is a food manufacture that produces dairy products. OP is located in London, OH (25 miles west of Columbus) and has been manufacturing dairy products since 1974. OP is a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) certified manufacturing facility.

Job Description:

Ohio Processors is looking for a individual to perform daily task to oversee its shipping and receiving operations. This person is responsible for pulling and slotting finished goods from the production floor into the cooler/freezer, staging orders in preparation to be loaded and shipped on trucks, staging packaging and ingredients, receive and unload incoming shipments, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and oversee inventory. This position is also required to upkeep on daily paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations. Must have experience operation electric forklifts.

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations
• Be willing and able to operate production machinery
• Stacking pallets
• Communicate with office personnel whom receive production orders and schedule trucks.
• Check production output according to orders
• Fulfill daily/weekly/monthly documentation
• Train new employees safe forklift/pallet jack operation
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Be willing and able to load/unload trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Be able to lift 50 lbs. Push/pull 2000 lbs. with assistance (pallet jack)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Proven experience as dock/warehouse worker
• Able to operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks
• Basic Food safety knowledge

Work Environment

• May be exposed to slippery floors

Ear, eye/face protection, hair/beard nets, and slip-resistant shoes are necessary in accordance with the plants Good Manufacturing Practices and safety procedures.
