The Interventional Radiology division encompasses stationary IR equipment located in University Hospital and The James Cancer Hospital.
The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Previous interventional radiology experience is preferred. Individual must obtain ACLS certification in addition to BLS/RQI certification prior to orientation completion. Advanced registry in VI preferred.
Maintains registry amp; licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
