What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preliminary IM, Clinical Instructor Housestaff position at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
Clinical Instructor Housestaff who functions as an Internal Medicine resident in the Department of Internal Medicine by providing direct patient care; instructs medical students, undergraduate amp; graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in specialty area; directs and participates in quality assessment and improvement activities; ensures continuing medical education requirements are met; participates in conferences and programs; conducts research projects; produces abstracts and/or publications.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
M.D. or D.O. required (foreign equivalent acceptable); Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen and background check.
