Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support NIH Stroke Certification Job Details The UH OR has a hybrid OR suite that is utilized by Neurosurgeons who are endovascular specialized. The cases include diagnostic cerebral angiograms, treatment of strokes, ruptured aneurysms, AVMs, and carotid stenting. The shift is negotiable as either 5x8s (6 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m.) Monday-Friday, with on-call requirements for after hours and weekends. There will be a minimum of 125 hours of call per month required. Documentation System Experience : Epic Must have EVAR experience Patient Age Group : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Work Setting Experience : Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital General Skills Experience : PACS, C-ARM, Biopsies X-ray Procedure Experience : Surgery / C-Arm R / Angio / Special Procedures Experience : Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Peripherals, Upper and Lower Extremity, Abd and Pelvic, Vascular Studies, Stroke Treatment Job Requirements BLS certification required ARRT certification required NIH Stroke Certification required for ER and all Critical Care RNs (ICU, MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, and Critical Care Float) State License Verification required within 30 days of start NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) required Tech Cert Verification - National required within 30 days of start Schedule Information Shift is negotiable as either 5x8s (6 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m.) Monday-Friday On-call requirements for after hours and weekends Minimum of 125 hours of call per month required Unit Specific Information Unit-Specific Competency Exam Required Additional Details Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
