Chief Financial Officer
Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with other members of the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the overall goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that ensure the company's financial stability and growth
- Oversee the company's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to the executive team and board of directors
- Manage the company's cash flow and ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the organization's needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Manage the company's risk management program
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting and analysis
- Manage the company's tax planning and compliance
- Oversee the company's financial systems and ensure that they are efficient and effective
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- CPA or CFA certification preferred
