What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Education Manager position at Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative?
JOB SUMMARY: The Education Manager will oversee the coordination and implementation of overall educational, mental health and disability services for Head Start, Early Head Start and Child Care Partnership. Provide supervision and support to all Quality Mentors, Disability Consultant and Mental Health Consultant. Ensure the overall program quality adheres to all state laws, licensing regulations, Head Start Program Performance standards, OVEC Head Start policies and procedures, and instructions from Head Start Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required with experience teaching young children. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in leading a team.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The salary range will depend on a candidate experience in the industry and education level: BA degree (&67,000-90,000) & MA degree ($78,000-100,000).
