We are seeking a Restorative Aide to join our dedicated team at OVM. In this role, you will provide therapeutic care to patients, supporting their ability to maintain function with ADLs. Your contributions will be vital to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Applicant must be a Certified Nurse Aide(CNA)/State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA).
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Help patients with exercises and activities designed to improve their daily living skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the department supervisor.
- Support patients during restorative sessions by providing encouragement and assistance as needed.
- Prepare materials and equipment for use during sessions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in healthcare preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of rehabilitation practices is a plus.
