At OhioHealth, we strive for excellence in providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse on our Oncology Unit 1, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients and families.
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients. You will also delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assessment/Diagnosis - Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.
- Outcomes Identification/Planning - Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
- Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals.
- Leadership - Actively participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification.
- A BSN degree is required within 5 years of employment.
