Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely billing. He/She may also be responsible for registering patients and initiating certification process for patient treatment as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School or GED (Required)
Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance billing. Typing skills of 50-70 wpm. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with public and patients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. One to two years previous billing Experience in a medical office/hospital environment.
