Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assures that all assigned areas are properly cleaned--- (shampooed, waxed).
Supports GRA’s, housemen and supervisors on all special projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for cleaning carpets in guestrooms and public areas as necessary or assigned.
- Responsible for guestroom bathroom floor care. Stripping and waxing of floors.
- Responsible for the proper chemical mixing procedures.
- Responsible for cleaning and care of all equipment used.
- Responsible for maintenance request on equipment.
- Responsible for performing other duties as assigned or necessary.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning standards required.
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
Shampooer, Wax Stripper, Buffer Machine
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
Requires walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing of stairs. Requires lifting or carrying weight up to 75 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Requires constant walking, standing, bending and climbing of stairs. Ability to lift and carry over 25lbs.
