We are currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer in Lawndale, CA for our Alondra Project. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will provide technical engineering and project control support to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Closely collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Crews to implement policies and procedures required for project success.
- Oversee material deliveries, ensuring that materials received meet contract specifications and are properly inspected for quantity and quality.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor and material contracts.
- Contribute to developing and updating the project schedule.
- Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals.
- Maintain accurate records of submittals, approvals, and resubmittals.
- Play a key role in cost control system operations and construction cost analysis.
- Participate in monthly forecasting revenue and cost accruals.
- Accumulate data and prepare monthly pay estimates.
- Process and estimate change orders and requests for information as directed by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Heavy civil construction background with 1-3 years of field experience.
- 30-hour OSHA certificate required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to function as a team player.
- Able to freely access all points of a construction site in various climates and environments.

Compensation: The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and performance. This is a full-time onsite position based out of the field office in Lawndale, CA.
