Summary :
We are seeking an Enterprise Systems Monitoring Technician to join a team in Eagan MN. This hybrid role requires strong incident management skills familiarity with largescale IT environments and a working knowledge of networking Windows and Linux systems. Candidates must also be eligible for a Position of Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities :
Monitor daytoday operations of a largescale computing infrastructure with over 300 applications.
Determine cause of alarms and take appropriate actions including logging alerts and notifying stakeholders.
Manage critical incident calls and act as the service incident lead.
Assist in triage and incident management analyzing performance metrics.
Execute change requests and maintain SOX compliance during deployment activities.
Draft and send notifications to management for incidents.
Monitor and execute incident and change requests effectively.
Skills / Qualifications :
Required : High School diploma with 5 years of experience or a Bachelors degree with at least 1 year of IT experience.
Past experience with help desk or incident management.
Strong knowledge of networking principles.
Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to identify and relay information from monitoring tools.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools.
Experience in critical incident management and IT Service Desk operations.
