Job purpose
The purpose of an Assisted Living Receptionist is to serve as the initial point of contact and provide exceptional customer service to residents, their families, and visitors. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, managing front desk operations, and facilitating efficient communication within the assisted living and memory care community. The Assisted Living Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the facility, offering support to residents, staff, and guests, and contributing to the overall well-being and comfort of those in our care.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and provide assistance over the phone.
- Extend a warm and courteous welcome to families and visitors.
- Organize and file invoices systematically in alphabetical order.
- Provide support to the Human Resources department in various administrative tasks.
- Conduct reference checks and online registry checks for all new hires.
- Maintain the Nurse Aide registry and related records.
- Compile and assemble billing documents for nursing home, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
- Input hair care expenses and track both the quantity and cost of incontinence supplies in the PCC system.
- Maintain assignment files and bath sheets; and organize report books, while also creating or revising assignment sheets as needed.
- Manage and monitor the usage of walkie-talkies.
- Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients.
- Prepare admission packets for new residents.
- Place orders for essential office supplies when necessary.
- Assure residents’ safety.
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
