What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/ Administrative Assistant position at Orthopedic Sports Medicine?
Are you looking to use your organizational skills to run the front office for a fun-paced, thriving practice in the Greater Cleveland Area? We are looking for a high energy, organized, hardworking (but fun working) front desk operator to help make our office run smoothly. We operate a practice that largely caters to federal employees injured at work. If you are looking for high job satisfaction, then you’re in the right spot. Our patient base is the most grateful group of patients to work with.
Your responsibilities include:
· Check phone messages
· Check emails
· Return phone calls/emails
· Go through schedule for the day make sure all charts are pulled and up to date
· When patients come in ask if they have received any updated correspondence from the government
· When patients check out be sure to make 2 copies of their documentation.
· Schedule client for follow up/PT – try to schedule med follow up around PT schedule
· Prepare Encounter forms
· Prepare charts for next day’s appts
· Go through charts from previous week to make sure they are completed
· File loose paperwork
· File charts/Prepare EMR charts
· Go through schedule and charts, make sure patients have correct appointments
· Scan documents into the EMR and upload to billing
