Must-Have : Experience in using electronic health records systems, specifically Epic Job Description : - Perform all phases of technical diagnostic imaging and operate X-Ray equipment to capture and develop images for medical diagnosis. - Provide quality images with accuracy and efficiency, using comprehensive skills and knowledge of all equipment. - Train in all general radiology exams / areas to accommodate workflow needs and ensure flexibility within the department. - Utilize patient transportation systems to arrange for patient delivery. - Position patients for diagnostic radiology exams following department procedures, training, and machine requirements, ensuring patient safety and care. - Set exposure factors and techniques to ensure accurate and high-quality images with minimal repeat rates. - Use computer image processing to select, process, optimize, and archive images to Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).- Track exams in the Radiology Information System and present images and related patient information for diagnosis.- Assist with patient transport using standard procedures.- Support the training of Radiologic Technology students and adhere to departmental policy on supervision of student technologists.- Gather complete documentation to provide accurate and timely service to customers, adhering to all policies and procedures.- Perform quality control and assurance, record results, and report any variance from normal equipment function.
