What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Service Counselor 1 position at OIC of Washington?
The Support Service Counselor 1 is responsible for providing client intake and qualification, clerical support, scheduling and case management. Under the supervision of the Program Manager the Counselor 1 will answer phones, make copies, prepare, and distribute mail and will assist with other program support services activities.

- Client Intake making sure they qualify for the programs.
- Schedule client intakes, auditor's appointments and contractor dates and times.
- Assist with maintaining internal procedures.
- Check information for completeness and accuracy. Reconcile, correct, or report discrepancies found in records.
- Data entry and tracking.
- Prepare needed documentation prior to clients home repairs.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Input data into database.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- AA or Accounting Certification Two (2) years’ experience working in an office setting One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in data entry or coding.
- Years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
