What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Pipeline Sales position at Oil and Gas Solutions?
Oil and Gas Solutions LLC (OGS) is seeking a Vice President of Sales, (VPS). This role will be based in Spring, TX. The VPS will be responsible for leading and expanding our corrosion and flow assurance sales efforts within the oil and gas pipeline industry. Additionally, the VPS will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Develop & implement a comprehensive sales strategy and targets
- Lead Marketing strategy and direct digital marketing direction and content
- Maintain current client relationships and identify areas for potential new clients, business opportunities and strategic alliances
- Contact target corporate clients to establish new business relationships
- Learn and present all OGS services to create new opportunities for expanding business
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies accordingly
- Understand customer operations and determine chemical technologies, testing, and equipment applications best suited to address their needs and provide value to pipeline operators.
- Gather and communicate competitor’s products and strategies
- Collaborate with sales, operations and design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
- Develop new sales opportunities, strategies and improve existing customer sales through your established relationships
- Drive customer acquisition, retention and expansion
- Develop sales materials and promotional campaigns
- Oversee contract negotiations, and pricing strategies
- Strong understanding of OGS products, services and competition to keep business competitive
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Manage CRM programs and lead the sales team in driving sales process through the supporting stages
- Set and establish key performance indicators and provide coaching to ensure team success
- Combine strong leadership skills with team-building focus, driving project execution on time and on budget.
- Assist in training OGS field engineers to improve sales goals and meet VPS expectations for what is sold
- Recruit and develop a high performing sales team
- Help evaluate new OGS products and services to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Clearly communicate project status and forward plans to customers, sales and management
VP Key Performance Indicators:
- Develop a portfolio of OGS customers and potential customers
- Achieve sales revenue and profit plans
- Track and Improve OGS sales engineer’s closing win rates
- Increase OGS market awareness, new customers and growth within current client base
- Develop technical knowledge on all OGS solutions
- Build corporate relationships with existing customer Decision Makers
Qualifications -The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:
- Have bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field or Pipeline Corrosion certifications: A master’s degree is a plus
- Currently managing corporate sales with major pipeline operators with a strong understanding of pipeline infrastructure, market dynamics, and industry regulations
- 10 years of experience in pipelines and Midstream solution sales
- 5 years related chemical / corrosion experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and automation systems required to integrate OGS Solutions
- Advanced computer skills including CRM, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel graphing
- Exceptional data management and technical proposal and review writing skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and social skills with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel as required

This individual possesses exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to secure multi-million-dollar contracts, and a history of expanding market share in a competitive environment. They will be a self-starter that enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment with the ability, drive, and discipline to achieve objectives. They will have high energy levels and a strong work ethic, as well as being highly organized and disciplined, with strong attention to detail and Chief Sales Officer aspirations.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
