Job Overview
The ISRs proactively reach out to existing and new customers to grow their territory. Territory growth is driven through lead follow up, creating and managing opportunities and maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to new and existing customers by phone, email, and Salesforce to achieve established sales and margin forecasts for the Inside territory by:
- Building relationships with new and existing customers by learning about their business and educating the customer about our products and services.
- Actively pursue business opportunities with customers and document those proactive calls in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Respond to customer web and call in leads within 24 hours being mindful of minimum order requirements and the qualification criteria for moving forward with leads.
- Actively manage pending opportunities to ensure that updates are being documented and that close dates remain current.
- Review customers in Tableau so that customer purchasing changes are quickly noted.
- Collaborate with multiple departments for needed information on products, suppliers, and procedures.
- Review Hindsights to ensure they are progressing toward completion.
- Research product offerings when reviewing leads or having discussions with existing customers looking for product alternatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years Inside Sales experience. Packaging or distribution industry is preferred.
- Detail oriented with strong organization, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and listening skills. Demonstrated ability to embrace and adapt to change.
- Effective time management skills with proven ability in handling multiple priorities and details in a fast- paced environment.
- Effective at building rapport and communicating our value proposition to new and existing customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs, with Oracle and Salesforce experience; a plus
- Good work record, strong work ethic and desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in teams with demonstrated ability to assimilate product and customer information quickly with a deep desire to learn and succeed.
- Ability to maintain positive attitude and professional image when working with internal and external customers.
- Ability to interact with all levels of customer contacts professionally.
