To support this, we are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Product Coordinator to manage product tasks efficiently and effectively, supporting both branded and private label products.ResponsibilitiesCoordinating and executing product management tasks such as item setup, quality audits, completion of administrative forms for new product setup or changes at retailers, inventory tracking, and procurement coordination.Product Management & CoordinationWorking closely with Assistant Product Managers, Sales, Operations, Procurement, R&D, Customer Service, and Logistics to launch new items and manage existing products, while maintaining clear communication on product change statuses.Managing and submitting New Item Request forms and coordinating product setup, ensuring completion of all required documentation for new items or changes.Maintaining Bizzmine Packaging Specifications, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for all products.Supporting internal teams with maintaining item specification sheets for both branded and private label products, updating packaging information, price pages, and related documentation.Customer, Quality, and Regulatory ComplianceMaintaining regulatory compliance by liaising between customers and regulatory bodies, ensuring that required documentation and customer portal updates are completed for both federal and state regulations.Maintaining item information in various customer portals (e.g., Store Brand Source, Wakefern Supplier Engage, Specright, TraceOne, Rivir, POL, Niselen Brandbank) and ensuring product information templates are up to date.Maintaining WERCs.Supporting the customer bid process, ensuring all required documents and materials (renders, sales stories) are delivered on time.Managing the EDI relationship with customers to ensure smooth transactions and accurate data.Coordinating product testing, including testing lab paperwork, samples, and communications between cross-functional teams and retail customers.Supporting quality audits (Factory & Social Compliance), including sending annual reports and ensuring all documentation is in place.Product Lifecycle & Obsolescence ManagementManaging the end-of-life inventory process, including obsolete component management, inventory analysis, runout, and packaging revisions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions of materials, goods, and packaging updates.Working with sales teams to sell off materials or goods through discount channels and ensuring proper disposal procedures for end-of-life inventory.Documentation & Administrative SupportOverseeing the sample request and tracking process, ensuring timely responses and efficient handling of samples.Handling invoice processing and submissions for packaging, marketing materials, renderings, and audits.Managing continuous improvement projects (e.g., new pallet patterns, customer label requirements) and ensuring proper setup for new strategic customers while adhering to customer supply chain requirements (EDI, data, packaging, etc.)Qualifications : 1-2 years of experience in product management within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or a related field.Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business-related discipline.Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different departments.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude.Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Ability to adapt to new challenges and continuously improve processes.Located in Chicago, IL, with up to 5% travel required.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization while developing a range of skills related to product management, compliance, customer relations, and supply chain operations.CompensationSalary Range : $62,627 - $78,203401(k) with 6% match (Fully Vested at 2 Years)Annual Incentive BonusAnnual Merit increase opportunityEmployee Stock Purchase Plan11 Corporate HolidaysPre-Tax TransitFitness & Gym ReimbursementOil-Dri is committed to providing equal opportunity for all teammates and qualified candidates without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital status, mental or physical disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
