Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Production Lead II in Arlington
In our organization, the Production Lead II has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintains production schedules to allow for maximum efficiency, the highest level of quality for all products and to ensure the safest possible work practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checks incoming orders.
- Sets production schedules.
- Ensures continuous production of parts and products that are manufactured according to specifications.
- Inspects for defects, rework and repair of products.
- Operates and/or demonstrates use of machinery.
- Assists with production of products.
- Completes required paperwork (daily log, travelers, monthly forecasts, etc.) .
- Conducts employee safety training.
- Prepares completed product shipment.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division).
- Conversions of weights and measures.
- Good communication skills.
- Utilize blueprints, temperature charts, SPC charts and graphs.
- Computer literate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged standing.
- Lifting up to 20 pounds frequently and in excess of 30 pounds occasionally.
- Occasional bending.
We may also consider candidates for a lower-level position depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate and the needs of the business.
