Position Summary:
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who will primarily focus on accounts payable while also cross-training in accounts receivable (AR) functions. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work in a team-oriented setting while learning and growing within the accounting department. As a key point of contact for the company, you will also help support general office duties, including greeting visitors, sorting mail, and fielding occasional phone inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Post vendor invoices
- Monitor unvouchered receipts report to ensure timely posting of invoices
- Process advance billings and credit memos
- Request and reconcile vendor statements
- Work with purchasing to resolve discrepancies on purchase orders
- Assist with general administrative work
- Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation
- Daily Invoicing for Accounts Receivable
- Process customer payments to account
- Assist with customer inquiries and collection efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years’ experience posting AP purchase order invoices
- Manufacturing experience environment preferred
- Advanced computer skills in Excel, Epicor preferred, and Microsoft Office
