THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining financial records, accounts receivable entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting other accounting functions. This role is perfect for someone with strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Reconcile the bank feed daily and post required adjusting journal entries.
- Own the accounts receivable process. This includes and is not limited to:
- Process and post customer payments, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all receivables and related transactions.
- Communicate with customers to address any billing issues or questions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable.
- Perform month-end close procedures including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and investigation as required
- Maintain Pre-Paid accounts on the balance sheet
- Perform other duties and special assignments as required
Requirements:
- 2 years of public accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience working in Google Sheets and MS Excel
- Firm understanding of GAAP
- Experience in an ERP system such as NetSuite
- Accept personal responsibility for producing results (individually and as a team).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively across all levels of employee and management
Preferred additional skills and/or experiences (helpful but not required):
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing and/or e-commerce environment.
- Previous experience recording accruals and prepays
- Experience working in Shopify, Ramp,

This position is based in Round Rock, TX at the new Wondercide headquarters with a hybrid option available for consideration.
