POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide manufacturing administrative support for the Purchasing and Operations departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Archive purchasing / operations related quality documentation into Master Control upon receipt.
- Provide support to customers, vendors, and Arlington campus employees.
- Provide support for requisitions as assigned.
- Assist with customer/vendor meetings including signing of visitor log, meeting organizer contact, direction to meeting location and distribution of safety glasses, if applicable.
- Distribute and collect signed Guest Visitation Policy documents prior to on-site meetings. Scan and archive customer documentation submittals and signed visitation policies for future reference.
- Data Entry (e.g. EPA logs, Project tracking for procurement and production readiness).
- Provide support for ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment items.
- Monitor and stock coffee and kitchen supplies.
- Distribute, post and maintain internal flyers for bulletin boards within SP buildings.
- Participate in cross-training of department procedures/processes.
- Collaborate with Quality and Purchasing areas on classification breakout of approved supplier list.
- Request and collect Quality documentation revisions as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- At least 1-2 years of general office experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good basic computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel and PDF software.
- Basic math skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently while being a positive contribution to the team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent Organization Skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
- Prolonged sitting.
- Walking up/downstairs
We may also consider candidates for a lower-level position depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate and the needs of the business.
