Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Performer I for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location in our organization, the Performer I has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments. POSITION SUMMARY:
Produces preforms of the proper weight, size and material in sufficient quantity and in a timely order to meet the production schedule. Moves material to the preform machine for the machine to pack. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Produces preforms according to specifications. · Selects, weighs, and feeds proper material into perform machine. · Stacks counts and labels preforms into tubs, stacks, or pallets for transportation to press line. · Changes materials. · Cleans out machine putting material back in stacks. · Fills out the appropriate paperwork. · Sets up machines. · Perform all tasks as required in a Safety Sensitive position. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Good verbal/written communication skills · Basic mathematical skills · Ability to contribute towards the success of the team · Able to exercise good judgment |
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: · Previous manufacturing experience preferred · Forklift experience · Basic computer skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Heavy physical effort such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling · Prolonged standing/walking/crouching/squatting/crawling · Awkward postures of neck, shoulder, wrist, elbow, or fingers · Balancing · Frequent work in confined spaces or close quarters · Hearing · Speak clearly · Repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder, or neck movement · Occasional forceful hand grasp · Reading · Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. · Lifting from floor to waist · Requires wearing a respirator · Reaching shoulder level or below while holding an object · Frequent climbing of ladders/scaffolds and stairs · Able to see to distinguish colors, prepare/analyze figures, prepare/review documents, and to visually inspect · Exposure to forklifts, power tools, and machinery WORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: · Exposure to dangerous machinery · Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions · Occasional extreme cold/heat for more than an hour · Exposure to hazardous chemicals/fumes/gases/smoke and dust · Bright environment or lighting SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: · This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
