Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for healthcare providers.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Utilize computerized systems to manage patient records efficiently.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health information management standards and confidentiality regulations.
- Provide support to enhance communication with diverse patient populations when necessary.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure seamless patient service and care coordination.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of health information management practices.
- Familiarity with office procedures and experience using computerized systems like Meditech.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
