Ojai Health and Rehabilitation is looking for full time Laundry attendant who is available to work M-F 10AM - 6 : 30PM. Job Summary : The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring residents have access to clean and well-maintained linens and clothing. This role involves handling laundry services efficiently while following all sanitary guidelines and maintaining an organized inventory of supplies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure a sufficient supply of clean linen is available for residents' care and comfort.
- Maintain linens in good condition, removing any items with holes or stains from service.
- Collect residents' laundry daily or as needed.
- Label new residents' clothing items as required.
- Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens.
- Deliver clean laundry to residents' rooms in a timely manner.
- Follow all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry operations.
- Maintain an inventory of laundry supplies and notify management of replenishment needs.
- Operate all laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any laundry equipment issues to the Administrator. Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role preferred. Language Skills :
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions related to laundry and housekeeping procedures. Mathematical Skills :
- Basic math skills required. Reasoning Ability :
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to seek assistance when needed. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations :
