Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to join our team. As a Program Director for our Juvenile Facility, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our program, including program development, budgeting, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, relationship management, and administrative skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement program goals and objectives in line with organizational mission and vision
- Manage program budgets and ensure financial resources are allocated effectively
- Supervise program staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure program compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness through data analysis
- Identify areas for program improvement and implement strategies for enhancement
- Oversee the development of program policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in crisis situations and ensure the safety of clients and staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., behavioral health, social work) required; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in the field of behavioral health or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong administrative skills, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in program development
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
