The Graduate Health Sciences Lab Coordinator at Oklahoma Baptist University plays a critical role in supporting the educational mission of the department by managing immersive lab experiences for graduate health sciences students.
This position involves a range of responsibilities, including:
- Supply chain management, including ordering and maintaining inventory of lab supplies and materials, organizing and storing supplies and equipment, and ensuring timely procurement of necessary items.
- Laboratory equipment maintenance and setup, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment, setting up equipment for various lab activities and simulations, and resetting the multi-purpose lab space and storing equipment properly.
- Student support, including assisting students in using lab equipment and technology effectively, providing guidance and support to enhance the learning experience, and preparing a welcoming experience for students coming on campus.
- Technology oversight, including receiving and fulfilling technical directives, working closely with OBU Technology Services and Audio-Visual teams, and collaborating to repair, upgrade, and maintain technology equipment.
