Annual Salary:
Level I D33A $70,000.00 Full State Employee Benefits
Level II D33B $80,000.00 Full State Employee Benefits
Level III D33C $90,000.00 Full State Employee Benefits
Minimum Qualifications
Level is determined based on duties assigned.
Level I:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field; and five (5) years of experience in professional accounting, or closely related work; including two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity;
OR
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level II:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field; and six (6) years of experience in professional accounting, including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level III:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, and six (6) years of experience in professional accounting, including four (4) years in a supervisory capacity;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the day-to-day operations of Child Welfare fiscal operations including CW finance data gathering and reporting, as well as carrying out efforts to improve CW operational efficiency
- Assists in the installation and maintenance of all phases of CW fiscal operations
- Assists in the formulation of budget requests and operating budgets; consults with program directors on budgetary needs; manages the CW operating budget
- Reviews and approves expenditures and the transfer of funds between accounts
- Supervises preparation of accounting and administrative reports to reflect CW fiscal operations
- Supervises processing of receipts for deposit with State Treasury
- Performs related work as required and assigned
