Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree and four years of professional experience
- OR a Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education
- Directs several DDS Community and Professional Services programs including but not limited to Resource Development, Assistive Technology, Enabling Tech, Professional Services, Remote Supports, and Behavioral Health services.
- Review and develop policies for each of the assigned programs. All programs are implemented statewide.
- Manages program-level and supervising staff to ensure programs and practices meet standards and are implemented effectively and appropriately.
- Develops policies, rules, and regulations within responsible programs that are consistent with federal and state regulations.
- This person makes data-driven decisions around staff assignments, streamlining processes.
- Reviews and analyzes to make long-range program decisions.
- Attends leadership meetings and participates in groups that are working to modernize the programs which they are responsible for.
- Will provide detailed program information to OKHDS leadership and legislators when necessary.
- The content this position produces is generally critical to the mission and work of DDS and OKDHS
