In addition to these responsibilities, the Administrative Assistant III will also be responsible for:
- Training Presentations at Facilities:
- Assisting in conducting ALICE training
- Assisting in conducting Defensive Driver training
- Workers’ Compensation:
- Supervising light-duty workers from OCCIC/OCRU at the central office
- Creating and distributing monthly workers' compensation reports to facilities
- Researching workers' compensation statutes to assist with claim investigations and handling processes
- Assisting in analyzing workers' compensation data to reduce the overall number of claims
- Fleet Utilization:
- Creating weekly fleet utilization reports and dashboards for facility distribution
- Notifying facilities and drivers of unsafe behaviors
- Notifying facilities when AVLs are not reporting and following up until the issue is resolved
- Tort Liability:
- Researching the Governmental Tort Claims Act (GTCA) to assist with compliance and liability concerns
- Safety:
- Assisting in conducting health and safety site inspections at facilities and reporting mitigation recommendations
