Housing Program Field Representative
About the Position: The individual selected for this position will work in the Recovery Support Housing and Employment Division of Central Office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). Under general supervision, the individual will work with community-based housing and homeless service initiatives across the state. This position works with partners to plan, develop, or enhance needed housing services, provides and/or links with technical assistance and training, and monitors existing programs. Assures compliance with ODMHSAS standards, evidence-based strategy requirements, and other applicable governing/codified standards in managing and delivering housing services.

- Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Relations, Psychology, Public Health, Public Administration, Education or related degree,
- Four years professional experience in the behavioral health field, of which two years must be in mental health, homeless, or housing service delivery experience;
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree,
- Three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
