Senior Learning and Development Specialist
About the Position : The Senior Learning and Development Specialistis responsible for driving employee performance and agency results through collaborative discovery, design, development, and implementation of custom-made learning solutions for ODMHSAS employee and agency needs. Working directly with leaders, the Learning Partner will work to find and lead efficiencies in the new hire programs and continued education and development; all to drive measurable results for the agency. The role requires the exercise of critical thinking, discretion, and independent judgment to collaborate with senior leaders, project stakeholders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand learning requirements, translate those requirements into deliverable and effective learning experiences, and to deliver instruction, coaching, and strategic support to drive agency improvement through learning. In addition, this person interacts as an agency ambassador of ODMHSAS and an advocate of services in increasing employee engagement and agency effectiveness.
