Project Management Specialist III
About the Position: Operational Excellence, is currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our team, to oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring deliverables, milestones, and objectives are achieved. Responsibilities include project ideation and planning, conducting risk assessments, creating and managing budgets, and establishing schedules for resources and tasks. Additionally, the appointee will drive effective internal and external stakeholder communication and change strategies while evaluating project performance and delivering comprehensive project reports. This role is critical to supporting ODMHSAS's mission of improving lives through excellence in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcome
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
- Prepare a budget based on project scope
- Estimate resource requirement, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently
- Design a work plan for each team member depending upon project requirement and member expertise
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation
- Provide project updates to stakeholders
- Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution
- Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement and ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met
- Be aware of industry best practices, techniques and standards, and encourage team members to use them for effective project execution
- Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information systems management, public health, industrial engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline
- Two years of professional experience in project management
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient at managing time and resources
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules
- Proven leadership skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Capable of managing crises as and when they arise
- Adept at negotiating internally as well as externally
Preferred Skills
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in managing projects
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices
- PMP certification desirable
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- Proven experience in using popular project management tools such as Teams Planner, Asana, Trello, Kanban boards, etc.
