Northwest Center for Behavioral Health (NCBH) is currently accepting resumes for a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to provide peer support services to consumers in our Enid Outpatient Office! The RSS performs a wide range of tasks to assist consumers in regaining control of their lives and navigating the recovery process. The RSS will work as an advocate and will possess the skills to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and interactions with all ODMHSAS stakeholders.

- $30,000.00 - $14.23/Hour
- $34,500.00 - $16.59/Hour Once certified
- $38,000.00 - $18.27/Lead certified
- $40,000.00 - $19.23/Senior certified

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Requires High School diploma or GED; Demonstrated participation in advocacy and/or personal knowledge in recovery; Has the ability to become a Certified Recovery Support Specialist. We are licensed and Joint Commission accredited since 1974. We provide complete mental health and substance abuse services for the individuals of Northwest Oklahoma in our outpatient offices, transitional residential program and our inpatient psychiatric unit. We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Support Specialist at our Enid Outpatient Facility in Enid, OK.
Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background.
Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
(if Required) Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
