Travel is Occasional: Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required care insurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master's degree and two years of professional experience
- OR a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional-level experience in the above-listed areas for each year of the required education
*No substitution will be allowed for the required professional supervisory, managerial, consultative, or administrative experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages DDS critical programs to the division's True North goals.
- Provides training and support for DDS residential contract providers.
- Serves as a coordinator for review and approval/denial of new service providers.
- Responsible for development of new policies and processes reflecting national best practices. Compiles and analyzes critical data for reporting, trend tracking and program improvements.
- This position manages and supervises the residential services and staff for DDS; over half of the individuals we support who are in home and community based services reside in a DDS residential setting.
- The Residential Program Manager works with providers and teams to insure individuals live in safe homes, with access to community programs.
- This Programs Manager works with other divisions and state agencies to coordinate services that support an individual across all areas of their life.
- Responsible for analyzing state and national trends to improve services and supports for individuals in home and community based services and supports.
