Dean of Students
The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is seeking a Dean of Students. The Dean of Students strives to enhance students’ academic success by managing the residential aspect of student life so students gain the greatest benefit from the educational opportunity provided.
OSSM is an academic emphasis, 2-year, residential high school located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OSSM consistently ranks as one of the top 10 high schools in the United States.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications
· Oversee all aspects of residential life.
· Address and resolve student behavior and discipline.
· Oversee the operation of the residence hall.
· Contribute to student success and retention.
· Enforce the student handbook.
· Contribute to student success and retention.
· Maintain presence and visibility throughout campus.
· Coordinate and supervise special activities (Winter Formal, Civic Center Trip, Thunder Game, Prom, etc.).
· Collaborate with the Residence Hall Supervisor to coordinate dorm move-in and move-out.
· Work evenings and weekends as needed.
· Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred.
· Educational background with administrator certification is preferred.
· Instruction of academic course(s) in field of expertise
Salary & Benefits
1. Salary is competitive and commensurate with credentials.
