Job Description
The Manager of Patient Access is responsible for the daily operations of the Registration, Central Scheduling, Mail Room and PBX Departments. Primary focuses of this position includes patients are scheduled for procedures in a timely manner, patients are registered accurately, all patient financial responsibilities are communicated and met, and incoming call are answered and transferred properly. Duties include, but are not limited to, training employees, reviewing competencies with staff, implementing policy and procedure changes, monitoring work to ensure quality and service standards are met, completing performance appraisals, conducting staff meetings, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned. The Manager should demonstrate technical expertise and leadership qualities, and hold a Bachelor's degree or have the equivalent of job experience.
