High school diploma/GED. Seven years of related experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Experience should include executive level administrative support.
Proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to compose error-free correspondence. Ability to present a calm, welcoming demeanor to all visitors. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree

Duties include:
- Preparing correspondence, helping formulate survey responses, scheduling appointments and maintaining the Director’s calendar, as requested.
- Preparing purchase requests. Coordinating the logistics for donor-related events and programs including reserving facilities, meeting rooms and equipment, booking caterers, and tracking reservations.
- Assisting with college-wide and some departmental events. Scheduling space, equipment, and furniture for events/programs and meetings hosted by internal and external groups.
- Preparing contracts and invoices for external groups who reserve space in the Business Building.
- Maintaining the building key system and database. Dispensing keys to new faculty and staff, as needed.
- Hiring and supervising all students assigned to the Spears Dean’s Office.
- Assisting individuals who visit or call the Dean’s Office when other staff are not available.
