Job Summary :
Recruiting-evaluation and contact of prospective student-athletes.
Coaching of student-athletes.
Public Relations and Fundraising.
Administrative Responsibilities.
Travel is required in the performance of this position : Nationally and occasionally out of the country for recruiting, coaching, and fund-raising.
Work schedule varies. Practice times often occur or continue after 5 : 00 pm and on weekends. Also, several evenings per week scouting, recruiting, etc. Official visits are often on weekends. Meets are often on weekends.

Position Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education / Coaching or related field.
Three years high school, collegiate or professional football.
Acquire after hire : NCAA Coaches Certification Recruiting Test. Test given at OSU periodically.
Excellent managerial abilities; ability to manage multiple work priorities simultaneously; ability to work in a highly self-motivated manner and motivate others.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's Degree in Physical Education / Coaching or related field.
NCAA Division I A or NFL experience
