What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRM Specialist position at Oklahoma State University?
The CRM Specialist serves as a member of the Data Management team in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position provides software development and support in a multi-platform environment to enhance the enrollment management operations for Undergraduate Admissions and other campus units. The CRM Specialist assists with the daily operations of the Slate CRM including system maintenance, query development, process automation, data integrity, system security, integration with other campus systems, staff training, and the development of new Slate features. In order to succeed in this role, excellent communication and organizational skills are required to assist university staff with recruiting prospective students.

Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrated experience with software application development and/or database management.
Efficiently utilize software applications to support the planning, development, and coordination of undergraduate admissions efforts to recruit prospective students.
Working knowledge of data management concepts including relational databases, data security, data governance, and system maintenance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to represent the department with external constituents.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time; assist with the planning, installation and operation, and effective utilization of multiple software platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, adaptable and proactive in problem identification and resolution, critical thinking and acceptance of improved technology and data collection, measurement and presentation in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field of study
Two years of related experience of software application development and/or database management
Demonstrated organizational skills, creativity, logic, and strategic thinking in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new technologies and/or services in a high-impact environment including robust training to end-users.
Previous experience in an admissions office or related field with organizational processes preferred.
Previous experience with CRM, document imaging software, admissions and/or university software including Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner.
Experience with programming languages such as HTML, XML, SQL, VBA, JavaScript, etc.
Experience with statistical software (R, SAS, Stata, etc.) and/or data visualization software (Tableau, SAS Viya, etc.).
Computer skills must include proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Coding experience with one or more programming languages such as HTML, SQL, XML, Javascript, etc.
