What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Systems Administrator II position at Oklahoma State University?
The Enterprise Systems Administrator position has responsibility for system administration and data storage administration in the OSU Information Technology Server Administration Department. This position provides a variety of lead administrative / analyst tasks related to the administration and management of services such as, Active Directory, Azure, Entra, File Shares, Group Policy, Intune, Office 365, RHEL, SharePoint, Security Certificates, SCCM, SQL , CSGold and Windows Server. This position will consult with end users, managers, vendors, and other individuals from Information Technology Services (IT) as well as the University. The individual will participate in incident management, change management, security management and IT Service management processes and procedures. The Server Administration area has responsibilities for technical infrastructure supporting the Oklahoma State University System as well as the A&M institutions under the Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents. The position is expected to work with moderate supervision and have no direct reports. This position will manage more than 1 service independently within the environment. These services are available at the OSU Stillwater campus, the other 4 branch campuses and the A&M institutions. The administrator has the responsibility to maintain sufficient knowledge and skills to improve the services being provided as well as keep up with the day-to-day operations of the services. The Enterprise Systems Administrator follows the lead of senior systems administrators. This position will require On-call responsibilities after hours on a rotational basis through the year.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes additional compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.
Working with electronic devices presents the potential of electrical shock.
May require lifting up to 50 lbs when moving equipment.
