What are the responsibilities and job description for the FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR position at Oklahoma State University?
GENERAL SUMMARY : This position coordinates themaintenance of Residential Life housing. Responsible for implementing the long-range maintenance plans andprocedures and documentation for the operation of all Residential Lifefacilities to include all single student and family housing on the OSUIT campusand off campus housing at the GOPO.
PRINCIPALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Directs the general maintenance including building structures, all interior and exterior finishes, painting and repair of apartments, rooms, hallways, and pest control.
- Repair and maintenance of residence appliances and fixtures.
- Maintains and repairs shop facilities.
- Assist in documentation of all purchasing assigned.
- Supervise Residential Life maintenance staff.
- Maintain documents and records for maintenance procedures and expenditures.
- Maintain current on all work order documentation and supporting data.
- Verifies and documents daily maintenance operations reports including expenditures, warranty work, service requests, damage reports, safety reports, and replacement needs.
- Coordinates with vendors regarding outside maintenance services and parts.
- Requires some weekend work; weekday work schedule may vary with work performed and due to weather conditions.
- Will provide support to other Physical Plant departments when needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
