Job Summary :
Audit, review and approve encumbrance and expenditure documents. Correspond daily with campus departments and external agencies in the resolution of problems. Interpret State Statutes and University Policies and Procedures and effectively communicate compliance issues to departments. Perform computer data entry in Banner Finance. Navigate OK Corral for processing of requisitions and invoices. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
High School / GED.
Financial Assistant I - No experience required.
Financial Assistant II - One year of related experience.
Sr Financial Assistant - Three years of related experience.
Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Ability to interpret, understand, and implement various policies, procedures, and regulations as they pertain to major responsibilities.
The ability to use 10-key.
The ability to communicate with others effectively.
The ability to organize and file efficiently and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
Five years of related experience.
